The game, which is available in Standard and Deluxe Editions, brings cooperative adventure board gaming into the world of Golarion.
Tuesday, Sept. 16 [Redmond, WA]: At 10:00 A.M. Pacific Time on Tuesday, September 16th, Paizo launched a crowdfunding campaign for Pathfinder Quest on BackerKit. The crowdfunding campaign, with a base goal of $75,000, seeks to fund the production of Pathfinder Quest Standard Edition, Pathfinder Quest Deluxe Edition, and an array of premium add-ons.
Pathfinder Quest is a cooperative adventure board game for 1-4 players. After creating four unique characters with just a few simple choices, players use the Adventure Book to explore the town of Falcon’s Hollow, along with its nearby wilderness and foreboding ruins, undertaking challenges and making choices that determine the course of the story. Using a variety of skills and other abilities, players will roll Quest Dice to determine the outcome of their efforts and refer to the secretive Challenge Book to learn their fate!
Both editions of Pathfinder Quest include everything needed to play the game: map tiles, pawns for characters and creatures, class cards, item cards, ancestry cards, enemy cards, over 100 tokens, the Adventure Book, Challenge Book, Rulebook, and a custom Time Tracker. The BackerKit-exclusive Deluxe Edition of Pathfinder Quest augments this with miniatures for the time dragon and four iconic heroes at launch—with the ability to add more throughout the campaign via stretch goals.
Additionally, Paizo is partnering with My Mini Factory and Titan Forge to run a concurrent campaign for a full collection of STLs to 3-D print all of Pathfinder Quest’s creatures at home!
Pathfinder Quest is live on BackerKit from September 16th through October 17th, with various stretch goals, social goals, and streams planned throughout the month.
