The latest in the Dungeons & Dragons novel saga is now available.
Today, Wizards of the Coast announced the global release of R.A. Salvatore’s Neverwinter, the second book in the Neverwinter saga from the New York Times best-selling author. Building on the tale of Neverwinter that began in last year’s Gauntlgrym, this book follows Salvatore’s signature character, Drizzt Do’Urden, into the fallen city to seek revenge on those responsible for its destruction. The novel is part of a larger Neverwinter suite of Dungeons & Dragons® products and in-store play offerings from Wizards of the Coast that include a board game (The Legend of Drizzt™, releasing October 18th) and an IDW Publishing comic mini-series penned by Salvatore and his son, Geno).
With over 15 million books sold in the U.S. alone, more than four dozen books to his credit, 23 New York Times best-sellers and numerous game credits, Salvatore has become one of the most important figures in modern epic fantasy. His first published novel was The Crystal Shard in 1988. Since that time, Salvatore has published numerous novels, including the New York Times best-selling The Halfling’s Gem, Sojourn, and The Legacy.

In Neverwinter, with the last of his trusted companions having fallen, Drizzt is alone – and free – for the first time in almost a hundred years.
