Modiphius Entertainment had a range of exciting launches during September, most notably the Quickstart for the upcoming TTRPG, Discworld: Adventures in Ankh-Morpork, coming to Kickstarter on 15th October. The PDF is available to download for free on the Modiphius webstore.
In this pun-filled Quickstart adventure for Discworld: Adventures in Ankh-Morpork, an intrepid band of Watchmen (that’s the players) are charged to discover who could have stolen a number of dragons from Lady Sybil Ramkin’s Sunshine Sanctuary for Sick Dragons. Track these ne’er-do-wells down before any of the admittedly rather limited number of honest people of Ankh-Morpork come to harm. As well as the adventures, This Quickstart includes the essential core rules of the Narrativium system, built specifically for Discworld: Adventures in Ankh-Morpork and five pre-generated characters.
Among September releases were a range of new miniatures for Fallout: Wasteland Warfare and Fallout: Factions, including Legends of Vault 76, Invaders From Beyond and Alien Invaders. The Fallout: Factions Battle Map is also now available – this high quality, double-sided, neoprene mat hosts both the Dry Rock Gulch artwork seen in the Fallout: Factions Starter set, and the striking Nuka-Girl poster on the reverse.
For fans of The Elder Scrolls, collectors can pick up The Elder Scrolls: Call to Arms – Giant. Striding across the tundra, the mighty giant is one of the last of their ancient kind. This collectors miniature is produced in a smaller than usual print run and so is available whilst stocks last.
Finally, Achtung! Cthulhu has a new 26-paged PDF adventure titled Operation Oberon. Set in Shanghai, China: January 1943, the city is in the tight grip of the Imperial Japanese Army. While high society revellers enjoy the delights of the “Paris of the east”, Black Sun secretly loot the occult treasures of the Pacific under the nose of the Japanese occupiers.
