Modiphius to Publish Ubisoft’s Heroes of Might & Magic® Tabletop RPG

Astrologers Proclaim a Week of Great Adventure as Polish Developer Lans Macabre to Develop TTRPG

London, ENGLAND: 12th June 2024

Award-winning global publisher of tabletop games, Modiphius Entertainment, has today announced a licensing agreement with Ubisoft to bring the epic storyline of the cult video game franchise Heroes of Might & Magic to the tabletop.

Modiphius will be partnering with Polish developer Lans Macabre, who are huge fans of the property and will be developing the game using the Modiphius 2d20 RPG system. The game will be launched with a crowdfunding campaign in early 2025 for a late 2025 release into retail.

The game is set in the World of Enroth, the settings of the first three Heroes of Might & Magic instalments in the series, and players will be able to relive some of the most epic and memorable moments in the saga, starting with “The Restoration of Erathia”, the crusade of Queen Catherine Ironfist to restore her Kingdom and uncover a conspiracy.

This is the first high-fantasy edition of the 2d20 system. It will set players as legendary heroes who are key figures able to call on the resources of a nation and lead formidable armies of diverse combatants drawn from the myriad of species that inhabit the world into daring assaults and venerable last stands. Players will be able to control multiple characters and immerse themselves in a world shaped by their actions according to their whims. They will face challenges of mythical proportions, in a reflection of the popular fantasy franchise.

Modiphius is well-known for games such as Fallout: Factions, the official Fallout RPG, Dune: Adventures in the Imperium, Star Trek Adventures, The Elder Scrolls Skyrim The Board Game and the upcoming Mass Effect The Board Game.
