Entropic Fantasy (EGS 2.0) [PDF: $10 | Hardcover: $39.99 (coming soon) | Hardcover/PDF: $39.99 (coming soon)]

Entropic Fantasy is a fantasy tabletop role-playing game powered by the Entropic Gaming System 2.0 System Reference Document. It can accommodate all types of fantasy settings and styles using the same set of mechanics. Designed with the principle of allowing maximum flexibility with fewer rules, characters can vary widely while still retaining the depth of their background, providing players with the means to translate their character concepts into something fully usable on the tabletop.

Using an escalating dice mechanic, from d4 through d12, a combination system that allows Skills to be combined with different Abilities to produce any possible action, character Qualities that can be used in-game to produce bonuses through Hero Points, and very flexible mechanics for combat and Talents (magic), EF keeps the rules medium while presenting players with more options and flexibility!

Whether it’s epic fantasy, dark fantasy, fantasy horror, pulp fantasy, or historical fantasy, Entropic Fantasy can handle them all! Powered by the Open Gaming License, fans and Third Party Publishers can take advantage of the simple mechanics to make EF THEIR game.

Entropic Fantasy is a complete standalone core rulebook built from the EGS 2.0 SRD. It does not require any other book to be playable.

Entropic Fantasy includes:

  • Twelve unique PC cultures to choose from.
  • An expanded list of Qualities compared to the SRD.
  • A large collection of fantasy equipment.
  • Magic character concepts.
  • An expanded list of Talents compared to the SRD.
  • GM guidance for creating games and adventures.
  • Example settings and adventures.
  • A lengthy bestiary.
  • … and more!
