Today is a Good Day to Die — or Watch Blood Of the Void, the Star Trek Adventures Tabletop RPG Liveplay

No Alpha Quadrant power instills terror in spacefaring explorers like the battle-eager Klingon Empire — and today, Modiphius Entertainment is thrilled to announce its sponsorship of Blood of the Void, a live-stream actual play of the Star Trek Adventures: The Klingon Empire Core Rulebook performed by Streampunks RPG! Not only that, but devout warriors seeking the admiration of Kahless can pick up the Star Trek Adventures: The Klingon Empire Core Rulebook for themselves along with a stylish set of Klingon-themed dice. Check out what Chancellor Martok hails as “worthy of its place in Sto-vo-kor” in this exciting new campaign!

Blood Of the Void is a weekly streaming show on Twitch using the Star Trek Adventures tabletop RPG rules from Modiphius which chronicles the voyages of some particularly ferocious Klingons. The story begins with the arrival of a new threat from the far reaches of the Gamma Quadrant which appears intent on launching a full-scale invasion of Klingon territory. The players take on the roles of the Klingon Empire’s best bird-of-prey crew, sent to investigate the impending threat. Will they swiftly crush the invaders, or are these warriors merely footnotes to a Galaxy-spanning conflict? Join an all-star cast as they travel across space in search of any and all who would dare question their honor! As the proverb goes, “Heghlu’meH QaQ jajvam.”

Meet the cast:

  • Aliza Pearl as Cmdr B’emir (episodes 1-5), and Gamemaster (episode 6 onward) – Award-winning actress and diehard Trekkie, Aliza has been a big name within the TTRPG space appearing on shows like Role & Keep (Fandom Tabletop), Shield of Tomorrow, and Callisto 6 (Geek & Sundry). She currently serves as GM on Blood Of the Void.
  • Jade Law as Cmdr E’daj – Actor, improviser, and cat lover extraordinaire! When Jade isn’t busy doing all that, she’s managing the webcomic localization powerhouse Tapas.io.
  • Quincy Surasmith as Lt Ra’amyan – When he’s not busy hosting the Asian Americana podcast, Quincy is a decorated journalist and actor that’s been featured on the likes of Conan and Buzzfeed.
  • Christopher Eddins as Lt Qotar – Christopher is a dedicated writer, actor, and a member of the improv group Lemon Pepper Wet. He’s also the co-host of the Bleav in the Crossover podcast.
  • Aki as Lt. D’wa – A lifelong Star Trek fan who’s deeply passionate about tabletop roleplaying and also a community manager at the popular D&D in a Castle vacation getaway, plus a cast member of Clear Skies (Streampunks).
  • Phillip Jeanmarie as Lt Omeq – Though Philip might be new to Star Trek, he’s no stranger to the world of acting, appearing in several television shows such as Power Rangers Wild Force, Passions, and Silicon Valley.

Blood Of the Void plays on the last Monday of every month on the QueueTimes Twitch channel, with the VOD being uploaded to Youtube shortly thereafter. Additionally, as part of the sponsorship from Modiphius, there will be a monthly recap video chronicling the story so far in short vignettes courtesy of Star Trek Online, the MMORPG video game, all available on YouTube. The next liveplay for Blood Of the Void is coming on March 29th, 2021.

The Star Trek Adventures: The Klingon Empire Core Rulebook is available now for £79.99 GBP for the collector’s edition, £44.99 GBP for the standard physical edition, and £14.99 GBP as a PDF, all of which can be purchased on the Modiphius website. Also available for pre-order — and regrettably not made from the bones of honorless Romulans — is an awesome set of Klingon-themed dice for £14.99 GBP and the Klingon Empire Gamemaster Toolkit for £34.99 GBP.
