Sunday, the geek community smashed the first goal of $500,000 and is well on its way to break through its second goal of $700,000 for the Worldbuilders fundraiser for Heifer International.

Now through December 15, Worldbuilders is hosting several live stream panels and events, including an online charity auction, to raise money for Heifer International, supporting their humanitarian efforts worldwide. This year the goal is to reach $500,000. $700,000

Also, keep an eye on Patrick Rothfuss’s Twitch throughout the week of the fundraiser, as he will be streaming every day from 1pm-4pm CT. Sometimes Pat may be on earlier or stay later; he even may show up unannounced.
