First Setting & Campaign Book for Legend In The Mist RPG Launched Worldwide

On the 18th of February 2026, tabletop game studio Son of Oak released Hearts of Ravensdale, the very first full setting and campaign book for its critically acclaimed TTRPG, Legend In The Mist.

About the Setting

Hearts of Ravensdale presents a deeply atmospheric, layered world of rustic fantasy – a genre that borrows tropes from literature as diverse as The Lord of the Rings and The Witcher, seamlessly blended with the kind of stories told in fairy tales, folklore, and Studio Ghibli productions. Refreshingly, the focus isn’t on sprawling dungeons, imperial capital cities, and battles between deities, but rather on enchanted forests, humble heroes, and small villages.

As a result, the threat posed by the Creatures of Twilight encroaching on the Dales, unscrupulous grave robbers who stalk the ruins of Old Gwyrdolin, and raiders who assail the borders of Cedargate is even more palpable, more personal, and – ultimately – more poignant. These aren’t the stories of omnipotent archmages and undefeatable paladins who have ascended to demi-godhood, but rather of folk magicians who live in hedgerows and of farmers, hunters, herbalists, and shrine-keepers who are ready to help their communities by standing up against what others are too scared of.

In this campaign book:

  • Folk magic matters.
  • Cooking and crafting are heroic acts.
  • The land itself breathes.
  • Twilight hides things older than memory.
