Modiphius Partners With UK Actual Play Group ‘Roll from the Hip’

London, ENGLAND: Wednesday 22nd October 2025

Publisher of tabletop roleplaying games, wargames and board games, Modiphius Entertainment, has today announced a partnership deal with London-based Roll From The Hip, a TTRPG spin-off of the successful improv comedy group Shoot From The Hip.

Roll From the Hip recently launched a D&D actual play video series ‘Plagueground’, following four cursed 11 year olds (and one very grouchy crow) as they attempt to survive their first days at St. Churnley’s School for Cursed Boys.

Roll From The Hip will release their final episode of the current series on 26th October, and are in planning for Season 2 in 2026. For those who can’t get enough of the cursed school antics, you can see Roll From The Hip on stage in London on November 22nd for their first live show, The Plagueround: Fiend Trip, with tickets selling out fast!

As Shoot From The Hip, the group are the most-followed improv comedians on the internet, bringing their award-winning, spontaneous comedy to sell-out shows in the UK and to their over 3 million fans around the world.

With  over 500,000 total views and 165,000 people watching the opening episode of Plagueground, Roll From the Hip is drawing in a diverse audience worldwide. As part of this new partnership, Modiphius will support Roll From The Hip in securing sponsorship and press for their forthcoming online shows and live events.

With two more series already in the pipeline, the group are prepping live shows, one-shots, collaborations and more for their rapidly growing new channel.

Modiphius will also be working with the team to develop a 5E-compatible supplement based on the events of Plagueground for release in late 2026. To find out more about sponsorship or advertising around the show, please contact pr@modiphius.com.
