Now, 20 years later, the Platinum Edition brings this iconic dungeon back to life, fully updated for 5E, with new content, exclusive miniatures, stunning maps, and expanded adventures for a new generation of adventurers.
World’s Largest RPGs has purchased a variety of d20 titles from Alderac Entertainment Group in order to update and reissue them for the roleplaying game community.

The Platinum Edition of World’s Largest Dungeon will launch its crowdfunding campaign on BackerKit on May 13th, 2025. This updated edition will incorporate the latest rules, enhanced editing, and stunning new artwork and maps, all meticulously overseen by our publishing partner, Strange Owl Games.

Secret Door Adventures
A Secret Door Adventure is a self-contained dungeon expansion, crafted by a variety of talented RPG authors to add new encounters, lore, and unique challenges to the World’s Largest Dungeon. These adventures introduce unexpected twists, hidden threats, and entirely new ways to experience the dungeon. Industry greats like Timothy Brown (Dragon Kings, Dark Sun), Robert J. Schwalb (Shadow of the Demon Lord, Warhammer Fantasy), and Leamon Crafton (Torg Eternity) are already providing Secret Door Adventures for the campaign.
An Epic Contest for Aspiring Designers
The campaign introduces a groundbreaking Secret Door Adventures Contest in partnership with Portals to Adventure. Aspiring RPG designers can submit their own dungeon encounters, with fan-voted winners included in the Secret Doors book joining the new contributions from a host of elite creators.
