Four exciting novels set in the world of The Sunless Crossing for fans of fantasy novels and tabletop RPGs alike
Chicago, IL (November 14, 2024) – Today, publisher Storytellers Forge wrapped up a successful Backerkit campaign for The Black Ballad – Chronicles of the Crossing, a series of companion novels for The Black Ballad roleplaying game. After one month, the project raised a total of $25,602 USD, surpassing its initial goal of $15,000 USD.
Chronicles of the Crossing is a collection of full-length novels in different genres — including roguepunk, necromantic heists, death-torn mystery and romance, and metal-infused god wars — written by a different author to explore journeys through Purgatory. The project is helmed by Storytellers Forge and features C.D. Corrigan (Tattered Pawns, Sea of Cinders, Relict RPG) writing Memory Thief, Chris Durston (Chronicles from the World of Guilt, Each Little Universe) writing Mortal Coils, Brian Fitzpatrick (The Mechcraft Trilogy) writing The Nyxian Cataclysms, and Crystal Wood writing Duskwalker.
In addition to the collection of novels, Chronicles of the Crossing includes a full campaign book and setting guide, and a metal-infused musical score.
