Digital Quickstart Guide ‘Prologue to the Hidden War’ Now Available

Publisher of tabletop RPGs, wargames, and board games, Modiphius Entertainment has launched a digital quickstart for its new wargame and miniatures range, Cohors Cthulhu: Tactics, which launches on Kickstarter next month. The quickstart allows players to try the game and learn its rules for free as a digital download.
In this prologue, players take on the role of a Roman centurion and his cohort as they are ambushed by monstrous Mythos creatures. The quickstart allows solo players or a group playing co-operatively to learn as they play, with each of the three scenarios neatly introducing the fundamental mechanics.
Players can learn the core rules to the Cohors Cthulhu: Tactics adventure wargame as soon as they open the digital quickstart and set up a table. The quickstart invites players to try out the game with any 28-32mm hero and monster miniatures they have to hand, before official Cohors Cthulhu heroic miniatures become available through the Kickstarter campaign.
This new launch follows a successful Kickstarter campaign for Cohors Cthulhu Tabletop Roleplaying Game in October 2023, unlocking six tabletop RPG books, and 25 miniatures, that can also be used in the Cohors Cthulhu: Tactics adventure wargame. The RPG Kickstarter will be fulfilling in summer 2024.
Modiphius Entertainment is well-known for its other successful wargames including Five Leagues from the Borderlands, Five Parsecs From Home, Fallout: Wasteland Warfare, The Elder Scrolls: Call to Arms, and most recently Fallout: Factions.
