Roleplayers Chronicle Launches Tabletop RPG Publisher Resource Network
SHAKOPEE, MN AUGUST 27, 2012 – Roleplayers Chronicle has officially launched the Publisher Resource Network providing free and low cost tools and resources independent tabletop role-playing game publishers and designers can use to successfully publish and promote their products.
The Publisher Resource Network is a combination of tools provided by Roleplayers Chronicle for publication on their website along with a collection of low cost resources maintained by Roleplayers Chronicle that give publishers and designers what they may need to be successful. The tools available on the Roleplayers Chronicle website include product previews, Designer’s Diary, interviews, reviews, guest articles, and more. The resources maintained by Roleplayers Chronicle include playtesters, interviewers, editors, graphic designers, artists, and more.
Publishers and designers wishing to utilize the Publisher Resource Network contact Roleplayers Chronicle to initiate a project scoping. Tools and resources required are determined through the project scoping along with any administrative fees required. Roleplayers Chronicle acts as a consultant by providing the publisher or designer connections to the correct participants of the Publisher Resource Network and collecting feedback at the end. This network of participants is designed to provide a grouping of professional individuals in a single location, preventing the need to scour the globe looking for the right people.
Roleplayers Chronicle is currently enlisting professional participants for the following resources:
- Playtesting
- Editing
- Writing
- Cartography
- Art
- Graphic Design (logos, trade dress, and layout)
- Videography (for promotion and crowd-funding)
- Bloggers (for interviews and reviews)
- Podcasters (for interviews and reviews)
- Marketing
- Distribution (PDF, Print, and Print-on-Demand)
-more-
