Modiphius Entertainment Ltd has announced that it will host an event on D-Day, Thursday 6th June, at Fort Amherst to celebrate the launch of its new campaign book, Achtung! Cthulhu 2d20 – D-Day: The Darkest Day.<\/em><\/p>\n

Members of the public can enter on Modiphius social channels for free for a chance to win a seat at tables with GMs Quintin Smith<\/strong>, known for co-hosting Shut Up and Sit Down and his own solo YouTube channel, Quinns Quest, and Olivia Kennedy<\/strong> from TTRPG podcast, 3 Black Halflings.<\/p>\n

As the 80th anniversary of D-Day dawns, Modiphius will pay tribute to the heroism and sacrifice made by people of all nations who engaged in the liberation of Europe, who faced appalling tyranny and stood up against it\u2014often at great cost. As a tribute to those brave souls, for every copy of Achtung! Cthulhu 2d20 – D-Day: The Darkest Day <\/em>sold, \u00a31 will also be donated to veterans\u2019 charities, so that we never forget and keep the true spirit of D-Day alive.<\/p>\n

The games will take place inside the tunnels of Fort Amherst, based in Medway, Kent. The Napoleonic fort was constructed in 1756 at the southern end of the Brompton lines of defence to protect the southeastern approaches to Chatham Dockyard and the River Medway against a French invasion.<\/p>\n

The second of the late war campaign books for Achtung! Cthulhu, 2d20 – D-Day: The Darkest Day <\/em>contains everything needed to run adventures during the greatest amphibious invasion in history, Operation Overlord.<\/p>\n

Achtung! Cthulhu<\/em> is a setting for Lovecraftian roleplaying during World War II, which chronicles the malign influence of the Mythos as conflict engulfs the globe during 1939-1945.<\/p>\n
