Los Angeles, CA (May 8, 2023) – Glass Cannon Unplugged<\/b> is proud to announce the full roster of Legends available for Apex Legends<\/i>™<\/i><\/b>: The Board Game,<\/i> a highly competitive, tactical miniatures game from the minds behind Frostpunk: The Board Game<\/i><\/b> and Endless Winter: Paleoamericans<\/i><\/b>, produced as part of a licensing partnership between Glass Cannon Unplugged<\/b> and Genuine Entertainment <\/b>with Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ: EA)<\/b> and Respawn Entertainment<\/b>.<\/p>\n

Bringing to life the ultimate Apex Legends<\/i><\/b>™ <\/b>experience, the game involves opposing teams of Legends battling it out on a 3D arena in multiple game modes, covering a diverse abundance of playstyles. Through defining an inspired way to recreate the classic hero shooter at the game table, the team responsible for Apex Legends<\/i>™<\/i><\/b>: The Board Game <\/i>aims to deliver a product that accommodates newcomers to the genre, but is also certain to satisfy its veterans, providing tactical depth rarely made available in the world of board games. While the Core Box already contains three distinct gameplay modes: Training, Deathmatch, and Battle Royale, expansions for the game will introduce play modes dedicated to solo play, co-op and organized (tournament) play\u2014all being developed with world-class experts. The solo mode is created by David Turczi<\/a>, the industry\u2019s virtuoso at crafting automa and solo experiences for over 100 board games, while the tournament mode is prepared in close cooperation with Michal Duda, a Warhammer 40.000™ competitive champion with multiple titles to his name and a history of organizing tournaments and events for competitive games.<\/p>\n

The game\u2019s full character roster will comprise a total of 13 Legends<\/b>, including the initial four already announced\u2014Wraith, Bloodhound, Bangalore, and Gibraltar\u2014as well as fan favorites: Lifeline, Pathfinder, Caustic, Mirage, Octane, Crypto, Revenant, and Wattson<\/b>. These will be introduced into the game through dedicated Legend packs and expansion modules allowing it to be played by up to 6 players.<\/p>\n

For the 13th Legend, the designers have prepared something special\u2014the Loba Expansion<\/b>, which is a free, limited Legend Pack<\/b> for Kickstarter campaign backers at the Core Pledge level and above, introducing the notorious loot scout\u2014Loba<\/b>! Apart from making her available as a fully playable character, the expansion provides all the necessary components to bring her to life on the board, including a miniature for her Black Market Boutique power, the cards for all her Abilities and Feats, a set of ability and cooldown counters, a dedicated diorama, a storage tray, a Legend card and Legend sheet, as well as a stunning, Kickstarter exclusive sculpt <\/b>for the Legend herself!<\/p>\n

The Loba Expansion<\/b> will be available exclusively to Kickstarter backers and at Glass Cannon Unplugged conventions.<\/p>\n

Apex Legends<\/i>™<\/i><\/b>: The Board Game<\/i> is already open for beta testing using Tabletop Simulator\u2014a software that allows to emulate the physical components of a board game in a virtual environment.<\/p>\n
