Stockholm, Sweden (April 17, 2023) \u2014\u00a0<\/strong>A legend is reborn. Free League Publishing<\/a> today digitally released the new fantasy RPG\u00a0Dragonbane<\/a> \u2013<\/em>\u00a0the new edition of Sweden’s first and biggest tabletop RPG\u00a0Drakar och Demoner,<\/em>\u00a0recently voted one of the most\u00a0anticipated RPGs of 2023\u00a0at EN World.<\/p>\n

The game is now available to pre-order via\u00a0the\u00a0Free League website<\/a>\u00a0with immediate access to the complete PDF package,\u00a0ahead of the boxed edition release this fall. The game is also available at\u00a0DrivethruRPG<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Dragonbane\u00a0<\/em>core set includes\u00a0the complete Rules book, an Adventures book with no less than eleven adventures connected into an epic campaign, five pre-generated characters, over 70 custom cards for treasure, adventures, initiative, and more,\u00a0and the beautiful map of the Misty Vale setting, created by the cartographer Francesca Baerald.<\/p>\n

Dragonbane<\/em>, the reimagined version of the classic Swedish fantasy RPG full of magic, mystery, and adventure, was funded in just 4 minutes and raised more than $700k and unlocked 22 stretchgoals during the Kickstarter campaign last fall.<\/p>\n

The lead game designer is\u00a0Tomas H\u00e4renstam (Forbidden Lands, Mutant: Year Zero, ALIEN RPG, Blade Runner RPG<\/em>), leading a team of adventure writers picked\u00a0from the from the rich legacy of the\u00a0Swedish RPG scene, from the 1980s until today. The lead illustrator for the game is the acclaimed Johan Egerkrans (Vaesen \u2013 Nordic Horror Roleplaying<\/em>).<\/p>\n

Free League also invites creators to design and publish their own supplements for\u00a0Dragonbane\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0Drakar och Demoner<\/em>, using the\u00a0recently released a third party license for the game.<\/em><\/p>\n
