Lake Stevens, WA (April 19, 2020) – Pulse Publishing, a new venture specializing in pop culture fiction and a partner of Catalyst Game Labs, launched its first Kickstarter campaign this week with A Secret Guide to Fighting Elder Gods.
Elder Gods, nominated for the 2019 Bram Stoker Award for Superior Achievement in Anthologies, collects thirteen original Lovecraftian tales from modern fantasy authors like Seanan McGuire and Jonathan Maberry. The Kickstarter campaign seeks to raise support for two limited edition print runs; a litho-wrapped hardback and a foil stamped faux-leather premium edition.
Pulse Publishing is currently working with several gaming companies, including Catalyst Game Labs, to bring new fiction options to their various IPs. “We’d like to see collector’s editions of some of our best novels from the BattleTech and Shadowrun line,” said Loren Coleman, novelist and founder of Catalyst. “In the meantime, I am such a fan of the Elder Gods anthology, I am promoting it with a new story for their campaign page.”
