“If you can defeat the Sparkers at the power plant, we may be able to get to the primary or secondary power generators in the basement to get electricity restored to our town.”

The Ruined Power Plant is a single external view map of a small power plant with three upper levels and a ground level.

The Ruined Power Plant is intended for use in modern or near or far future science fiction settings. Its ruined appearance makes it appropriate for horror or post apocalyptic settings.

Adventure hook for use with this product.

Energy Vampires: Until recently, the power plant was still operational and supplying power to a nearby town. Suddenly, the power goes out in the middle of the night. The town sends out scouts who find a group of mutants with glowing electrical sparks coming from their bodies and who seem to feed somehow on electrical systems, drawing out their power. The scouts give the mutants the nickname Sparkers for this trait.

The town puts out a call for mercenaries to end the threat of the Sparkers and reclaim the power plant. The group can get involved by answering this plea for help. The town wants them to grab the basement generators as part of their fee, hoping that they still work after being exposed to the Sparkers. The Sparkers have been using them to generate “food” for themselves and are not going to part with them peacefully.
