Weird Wars Rome and Crimson Exodus 2nd Edition

Here’s a look at today’s new and third party releases.

Total Party Kill Games [visit their Facebook page here] has released their Kickstarter-funded epic fantasy horror adventure for Pathfinder – The Bleeding Hollow. “Everyone becomes collateral damage and the players must use every ounce of wit, survival instinct and tactics they possess simply to survive — let alone help those in need… This is not an adventure for the faint of heart, or the foolishly good. Hard moral choices will have to be made that will make your players question their every moral fiber. This sandbox adventure is designed to allow the players to drive the story, and not to lead them. The choices they make will have great significance and possible repercussions as the events unfold and the clock ticks down…” Written by Brian Berg, Rick Cox, PJ Harn, and Bernie McCormick, it’s available for purchase from DriveThruRPG: The Bleeding Hollow Deluxe Adventure.

Adventureaweek [visit their website here] has released their latest Pathfinder adventure module – Death & Taxes. “It’s tax season in Hordenheim, and the free city is about to boil over. A rash of thefts has left the citizenry unable to pay, and a desperate burgomaster has turned to the PCs for help. The party will find themselves hired on as Tax Inspectors, tasked to keep order on the streets and bring gold back to the treasury. With a necromancer sheriff breathing down their necks, a monstrous population near riot, and tax dodgers on every side, the party will have to fight tooth and nail to balance the books…and to keep their heads!” Written by Colin Stricklin, it’s available for purchase from DriveThruRPG: B17: Death & Taxes.

Old School Renaissance

Barrel Rider Games [visit their website here] has released the Huckster character class for Labyrinth Lord. “Halflings can be both quick witted and fleet footed. With the Huckster, a full 8-level character class for Labyrinth Lord and other old-school role-playing games, you won’t need a sword to survive the adventure! You’re a fast talker who always has the right tool for the job! Leave the sword-play to the big folk, while you talk your way out of a jam!” Written by James M. Spahn, it’s available for purchase from DriveThruRPG: Huckster.

Fat Goblin Games [visit their Facebook page here] has released their latest Bestiarum Vocabulum supplement for Labyrinth Lord with a look at Monstrous Plants. “Despite the abundance of plants near and far, the green, growing world hasn’t inspired many menaces for Labyrinth Lord. But this is a world ripe with potential for the truly terrifying. Monstrous vegetation might sprout from many places and causes: manipulation by spells or curses, contamination by alchemical pollution, meddling by the divine, or even unholy hybrids. The first three possibilities are likely obvious, but the last involves plants or spores transplanted from other planes via plane shift or gate spells, which then cross-pollinate with local flora.” Written by Derek Holland, it’s available for purchase from DriveThruRPG: Bestiarum Vocabulum: Monstrous Plants.

Skirmisher Publishing [visit their website here] has released a Random Tavern Generator for universal use. “Every successful adventure begins and ends in a tavern. It’s where your heroes spend their down time, the place they pick up plot threads and adventure hooks, and where that one player always tries to creep you out by flirting with the NPCs. The pub is a fixture in any fantasy campaign, but you’re a busy GM with more important things to do than rattle off a silly name and describe the local color. So why not let the Jester Dragon do the heavy lifting for you with this convenient random tavern generator? Grab your percentile dice, roll on the tables below, and let the fates describe a full tavern experience so that you can get on with your campaign.” Written by William T. Thrasher, it’s available for purchase from DriveThruRPG: The Jester Dragon’s Random Tavern Generator.
