Here’s a look at today’s new, third party, and accessory releases.

Pathfinder

  1. Frog God Games and Necromancer Games bring to you a new old-school setting for Pathfinder, The Lost Lands, starting with the first setting book – Stoneheart Valley [view our entry in the Roleplayers Chronicle Reference database here]. “This mini-campaign was originally presented to the fans of Necromancer Games in three separate modules: “The Wizard’s Amulet”, “The Crucible of Freya”, and “The Tomb of Abysthor”. Frog God Games has taken the full series from the 3E version plus supplemental material previously available only online, and converted it all to the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game system and the Swords & Wizardry Complete ruleset.” Written by Clark Peterson and Bill Webb, it’s available for purchase from Paizo: The Lost Lands: Stoneheart Valley (PFRPG).
  2. Misfit Studios has launched a new series of NPC supplements for Pathfinder called Forces of Darkness. Their first issue features Zunerei of the Thousand Eyes [view our entry in the Roleplayers Chronicle Reference database here]. Forces of Darkness – Zunirei of the Thousand Eyes presents a demon who isn’t interested in your player characters’ souls, or setting the universe on fire. Instead, her interests lie in discovering the best-hidden secrets of your campaign world and revealing them for all to see, spreading chaos and disorder through their revelation.” Written by Robert H.   3. Art of War Games [visit their website here] publishes many low-cost Pathfinder PDFs, including their latest Magic Shops of the Week supplement. “The pdf provides a brief description of each Shop, Items for sale and costs as well as a brief description of the owner.” Written by Matt Parmer, it’s available for purchase from DriveThruRPG: Magic Shops of the Week 3.

Emperors Choice [visit their website here] has added a new monster to their Arduin epic fantasy RPG – Ibathene. “One of the bogeymen of the Arduin mythos is revealed for you today!  Ibathne are uncaring, deadly predators that haunt areas, stripping them clean to barren ground.  Luckily for us they are pretty rare!” Written by David Hargrave and Monty St John, it’s available for purchase from DriveThruRPG: Arduin Monster – Ibathene.
  2. Xion Studios [visit their Facebook page here] continues their Acts of Villainy Solo series of superhero supplements for Mutants & Masterminds with their latest villain Bone Daddy. “Using dark magics, this voodoo villain was once two men but have since been fused into one. Fearless in most respects, he’s ready to give your heroes a run for their money.   3. Dreamworlds [visit their website here] has released a pair of generic universal Tabletop Terrain Tiles sets – Roads and Rivers & Streams. “This pack contains twenty square ‘six by six’ printable tiles of roads and road features; bends, junctions, bridges and so on. They are designed using bright colours and clear graphic symbols to represent terrain features, overlaid with a grid of inch by inch squares for ease of use in tabletop games.” Designed by Cornelius Clifford, they’re both available for purchase from DriveThruRPG: Tabletop Terrain Tiles – Roads.
