Fate and Pathfinder Podcast Kickstarters

We have been made aware of two more Kickstarter campaigns that were recently launched. The first is a cyberpunk scenario for Fate Core called Aeon Wave.

Back the Kickstarter campaign here.

It’s the year 2073. Discovery of an ancient Martian radio signal known as the Aeon Wave leads to the development of advanced technology known as Aeontech. The shift of technological power topples governments and gives rise to the megacorps who wage a silent war over the remaining priceless secrets held within the Aeon Wave. Fueled by the greed of the megacorps, humanity’s ecological and economic destruction points to humanity’s extinction in 200 years. In the city of New Tianjin, freelancers ride the razor’s edge between the megacorps as they fight for power, wealth, anarchy, or to save humanity from the fate portended by the Aeon Wave.

What Is Aeon Wave?

Aeon Wave is a cyberpunk themed scenario for Fate Core. It will be released as a PDF (currently estimated at 50 pages) with a full color cover by Kurt Komoda, editing by Amanda Valentine, and page designed by Erik Nowak.

Aeon Wave’s unique story is based on the themes of great cyberpunk and science fiction stories like Blade Runner, Neuromancer, Snow Crash, AI, and Altered Carbon. Aeon Wave is designed to be run as a single session adventure or short campaign with little to no preparation ahead of time. The scenario includes all the tools the GM and players need to play the game including the scenario summary, locations, NPCs, a player’s guide, player handouts, and pregenerated player characters. The scenario also includes enough information to develop new PCs and expand the scenario out into a short multi-session campaign.

The second is the relaunch funding for the Know Direction Pathfinder podcast, sponsored by Gamerati.

Help us replace old equipment and expand our coverage of tabletop roleplaying games.

Know Direction needs your help. To continue to expand and grow, we not only need new equipment like cameras for convention coverage, we need to fix the outdated recording equipment and editing software we use to bring Pathfinder enthusiasts weekly audio content.

If we reach funding, the website, currently located at 35privatesanctuary.com, will be relaunched with a new URL as a Pathfinder-dedicated website with Know Direction as the new flagship podcast. With the new site comes better blog formatting, more news coverage, and more opportunities to play with fun Pathfinder content.
